About the DHBG
ACES HIGH II
The Dickweed Heavy Bomber Group flies as a squadron in Aces High II. We are the oldest online dedicated bomber group existing today. We have flown together since 1996 as the DHBG and its membership has flown together in Air Warrior DOS, Air Warrior, Air Warrior II, Warbirds, Warbirds II, Confirmed Kill, Aces High and Aces High II. We are primarily "High Altitude" bombing specialists but fly online in every aircraft.
MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR
The DHBG fly online in both MS2004 and FSX platforms. We fly together and log flights using Live ACARS. VATSIM is used by some members to enhance their online flying experiences. DHBG liveries are provided to members for a wide variety of aircraft. We encourage members to try and fly the best available aircraft, simulating the closest experiences to "real Life" flying possible. Accurate instrumentation is stressed, some member currently fly the LevelD and PMDG products using current AirNav AIRAC cycles for our FMS. We also fly many top rated freeware products.
Dickweed World Tours
The Dickweed Heavy Bomber Group has now completed six world tours. A tour is comprised of forty to sixty stops around the globe, starting and ending at Headquarters. We have a cyber facility located at Reno/Tahoe (KRNO) where the Air National Guard facilities are located. It is home to the "High Rollers" in real life but home to the DHBG in cyberspace. We have visited about every country in the world and a historical email is sent out at each stop we make. You have the experience of knowing both the topography and the history of each stop. Not to mention the fun of flying together and becoming familiar with the squadron garbology.
